ABOUT L. DEVRIES DESIGNS

Hi! My name is Lin​dsey, and I am the creator behind L. DeVries Designs. I never really

imagined that I would end up working with tools and in sawdust, but I’ve found that is

where my interest and abilities have intersected. My journey began a few years after we moved

into an old, but newly renovated, farmhouse. The spaces in our home are unique and often

end up being too small for traditional furniture or organizers. On a quest to  make the right size

piece for each space, and maybe even save a little money, I started creating and building

on my own. I had not much more than a circular saw, hammer, and a wood supply that

consisted exclusively of salvaged lumber,pallets, and other free wood. Since those

early days, my tool chest and work spaces have grown.  In 2014, we contracted out a

significant renovation to our home  which has given me more areas to optimize and decorate! 

On occasion, I have had family and friends ask me to make something unique for their space as well.
